Use Case

Contemporary Artist – Digital Commerce

Designing a Scalable Art Business Online

The artist had a consistent body of work and a recognizable aesthetic, yet the digital presence functioned primarily as a static portfolio. There was no defined commercial pathway, no structured visibility strategy, and no infrastructure to convert interest into sales. The website showcased the work, but it did not operate as a business asset.

The project began by clarifying the commercial model. What should be sold online? Originals, limited editions, prints? At which price tiers? For which audience segments? This strategic layer informed both the structure of the webshop and the supporting visibility strategy.

We redesigned the digital presence to shift from passive exposure to active market participation. A webshop was designed and implemented to align with the artist's positioning and practice, balancing aesthetic integrity with transactional clarity. A structured SEO strategy was introduced to improve discoverability and support long-term organic growth. Marketing foundations were established to create consistent pathways from visibility to conversion.

The outcome was a cohesive digital commerce setup that strengthened positioning, expanded reach, and enabled direct online sales without compromising artistic identity.
